Two Walking Tours for More Awareness of “Plan Southport 2050”

Southport NC – The City of Southport is excited to announce two upcoming opportunities for you to get involved in shaping the future of our community through the Plan Southport 2050 initiative.

Walking Tours

On May 22nd, from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM, join us for guided walking tours starting at Franklin Square Park. These tours will give you a firsthand look at some of the key areas under consideration as we plan for Southport’s growth and development. Preregistration is required, so be sure to sign up on the project website at https://buff.ly/3ymywON.

Listening Sessions

If you can’t make it to the walking tours, we invite you to attend our listening sessions at the Community Building from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on May 22nd. This is your chance to share your ideas, concerns, and hopes for Southport’s future with our planning team.
