President Biden in Wilmington, NC

On Thursday, Joe Biden, the Commander in Chief, made his first trip to Wilmington, arriving at Wilmington International Airport.

The visit was not open to public. He spoke to a limited crowd of 200 people in Wilmington Convention center.

The President was in the country to make an announcement regarding an additional $3 billion in government funding for the replacement of lead pipes around the country.

The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law has provided cash to NHCS, which has allowed them to test every cooking faucet and water fountain in our schools and replace those with very high lead levels, including one at Bradley Creek.
