Record Turnout at Oak Island Summer Concert Series

Oak Island, NC – May 29, 2024 – The 2024 Oak Island Summer Concert Series kicked off with an impressive start, drawing a record crowd of over 2,000 attendees to the opening night on May 24th. The combination of the holiday weekend, ideal weather, and the electrifying performance by the Blackwater Band set a high bar for the rest of the summer.

This cherished “Bands by the Beach” tradition has become a staple for both residents and visitors of Oak Island. Each Friday, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm, the Middleton Park Amphitheater comes alive with a diverse range of musical performances, offering something for every taste.
